Stingrey
Recently, the lights are displayed incorrectly at night. The PAPI lights, runway lights and street lights are affected. See screenshots. Unfortunately I don't know what caused this error in the textures or effects filex. I have also already verified the Orbx Libery and Orbx Global Base. Unfortunately without success. Can you help me with the elimination of these faulty lights. Do you even know which files to replace for this? Nick Cooper
Hello, in your last shot, it appears that the PAPI lights have also been affected. Perhaps your P3D shaders have been amended.
Stingrey
Yes could be but i‘ve already delete once the temp shaders. I also reinstalled the content and client default .exe again with no positive effect :((((.
Stingrey
Do somebody know, which files could be the reason for this mess? It would be much easier to substitute just some files instead of reinstall the sim.
Doug Sawatzky
Hi You can go to C:/Users/name/AppData/Local/Lockheed Martin/Prepar3D v5 and delete the Shaders folder, then restart the sim for them to rebuild.
Stingrey
I‘ve already deleted the shaders unfortunately without success:(
Doug Sawatzky
Thanks Please post a copy of your “scenery.cfg” file and the “add-ons.cfg” and the “scenery_add-ons.xml” file found at C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5. Please note: Do not open the files and copy and paste the contents, just attach the files.
Nick Cooper
Hello, as I understand it, you can/should delete or rename both the shader folder that Doug refers to and the ShadersHLSL inside your P3D folder. Then run repair for the P3D Client only which will replace the Shaders HLSL folder without affecting any of your installed addons. The next time you run P3D, a new C:/Users/name/AppData/Local/Lockheed Martin/Prepar3D v5/Shaders folder will be created.
