Orbx add-ons randomly selected

Recommended Posts

In P3Dv5.1 5.1.12.26829 run as administrator when I go to select/deselect Orbx scenery addons, it either does not select it/them or selects another Orbx addon . In other words I can't choose the ones I want. I have run sync several times. It is only Orbx addons that do this.

Thank you for your reply. Not sure what updated means, but I did repair all four modules  with no change. Oddly upon a closer look this is happening.

When I deselect any Orbx addon in the sim, it deselects the one above it. Only Orbx addons.

Then I cannot reselect the one that was deselected. I have to go into the add-ons.CFG file in C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5 and change to true.

I have resynchronized in Orbx Central.

I have reinstalled all my Orbx scenery.

Weird, but I could use some help.

Hello.

No, it is something that does not affect everyone but does sometimes affect me.

Essentially, I do not know why it is apparently affecting you all the time.

I am making the assumption that this problem only arises when using the P3D add-ons list

and that installers and Orbx Central can otherwise successfully write to the add-ons.cfg files?

This is the add on.cfg file in C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5. If for instance I deselect South America in the sim North America right above it will be deselected.

I have posted in P3D forum also.

I may have isolated the problem

When I delete the purple scenery  line (D:\OrbxLibrary\p3dv5\Global openLC North America\Orbx\FTX_OLC\FTX_VECTOR_FixedAPT\Scenery) my addon selections in the Sim work as they should.

Question, do i need this FTX_VECTOR_FixedAPT file?
