Looked through as many previous posts as I could and did not see anything specifically dealling with this... Have installed Boundless EGBB scenary and the only option to enable the accurate airport and runway contours is to disable the Orbx tile covering EGBB. When enabled it flattens the runway (which in reality has a pronounced dip) and some other elevations. Would be great if I could find a way to get Orbx working with the Boundless scenary as both are rather good. There also seem to be an awful lot of Euro style buildings with the "Brum" Orbx tile enabled - isn't Orbx South supposed to replace those with UK style? Jon Clarke Posted February 11, 2021 Share Posted February 11, 2021 I would need your a copy of your actual scenery_packs.ini. Have you got the latest version of X-Organiser which I believe works better with Orbx True earth addons. The X-Organiser tool tends not to place the TE addons correctly. I don't use X-Organiser, but can tell you that the TE addons need to be kept together and placed directly under Global Airports. Boundless EGBB (not known by me) needs to be above Global Airports. Any mesh deviation when EGBB is on top of TE GB South would require Boundless input to modify their mesh. Jon Clarke Posted February 11, 2021 Share Posted February 11, 2021 I have a suggestion for you. Rename your Custom Scenery folder to Custom Scenery.BAK Make a new Custom Scenery folder. Drag and drop the TEGB South folders into the new folder from the .BAK Custom Scenery folder and also the Global Airports folder. Also drag and drop the 2 EGBB files into the new folder. Run XP and exit. Open the new scenery_packs.ini from within the new Custom Scenery folder and make sure it is layered with (top down) EGBB Airpprt TEGB South Airports Global Airports TEGB South Custom TEGB South Overlay TEGB South Orthos zzEGBB mesh Report back Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

TheAlpine Posted February 11, 2021 Author Share Posted February 11, 2021 I edited the ini file to follow the order you have suggested (please see attached) and it is as it was, that is to say Orbx coverage flattens the runway and other elevations when the Boundless mesh is placed below. Screen Shot attached. Insofar as the elevations, it seems then this is not something I can resolve at the user level (unless there are other possibilities) and I have provided the link to this discussion to the developer. Could you perhaps suggest some solution to help them get the airport to integrate with Orbx. flyinggizmo Posted February 11, 2021 Share Posted February 11, 2021 I had the EGBB mesh working with True Earth ( undulating runway etc ) but I had to disable it in X-Organizer because it altered the Orbx TE scenery ( see pic ) Disabling the mesh ( which covers a large area, not just the airport itself ) and the scenery returned to normal. I don't know why the mesh would do this but I'm happier with the flat runway compared to having the scenery spoiled. The accuracy of the airport and runway is more important so I've reverted to the Boundless mesh until there is, hopefully, a solution. For reference, the distinctive hump at BHX...
