olderndirt Posted January 6, 2021 Share Posted January 6, 2021 Like the High Plains Drifter from Lake County elev 4500+ at the south border up to Bend elev 3500+. Nothing but dirt, lakes and scrub but beautiful in its own way. The lake in the background is mostly alkaline as are many in this area. This one looks good but there's no one there. It's amazing how a crop can be squeezed from this land. Real trees off the left wing as our northwesterly heading approaches the Cascades. Three Sisters observe our approach to Bend.
