DoomTroopa
Hey great job on Sydney it looks great. One suggestion though, please remove the oil tanker and container ship from the harbour, they don't sail in there and look very odd. Otherwise brilliant!! Nick Cooper
Hello, it looks to me as if they are placed by the simulator. If ship traffic is switched off, they are no longer there.
MiGMan
Yes they are default sim ship placements. It would be nice to be able to remove them without turning off all ship traffic. They're parked as if in a blockade to stop the Russians, which is entirely unnecessary as that is what the adjacent Ft. Denison is for!
Frank Schnibben
Like with FSX/P3D there are a few hotspots where AI ships are gathering - often it’s a kind of odd "star formation". Usually these are starting/end points of ship AI routes. Unfortunately, Sydney is one of these mooring sites. At the moment the only solution to get rid of them is to disable the default AI ship traffic as mentioned by Nick - either by moving the ship traffic slider to the left or by renaming/moving the default ship traffic BGL file. However, I’m fairly sure that freeware AI ship guru Henrik Nielsen will provide a MSFS version of his "Global AI Ship Traffic" pack in the near future. DoomTroopa
Thanks for the info, I hadn't noticed them before and thought it was the scenery pack. In my eyes it ruins the run in along the harbour, maybe if you could swap them for LHDs instead.
Frank Schnibben
31 minutes ago, DoomTroopa said: LHDs Canberra class for example? Would be nice, but as already mentioned, default ship AI can only be deactivated/controlled as a whole (at this stage) and only by the user. There will be outrage if the CS Sydney installer disables the default ship AI or parts of it.
