Orbx black airport grass textures

Recommended Posts

(p3dv4.5, Orbx ftx global base)

Hello,

a couple of months ago I purchased and installed Orbx global base and libraries. Everything was fine but with the libraries installed I had black textures on default airport grass. So, I re-installed without the libraries and the problem with the black texture was gone. But without the libraries I cant see any 3d trees in some regions like england, france, germany....etc.

what can I do to fix the problem with the libraries?

Hello,

you will be affecting only two  files, as detailed in the linked topic.

Neither of them can possibly create a need for a re-installation.

The terrain.cfg file is recreated if missing when the simulator is next started.

The lclookup.bgl file is recreated when Verify files is run for the Orbx Libraries.

However, you do seem to have created your own problem by not using the Orbx Libraries,

unless I have misunderstood this:

So, I re-installed without the libraries

Hello,

I have merged your three topics asking the same question.

Please run through the linked topic again.

If that does not work and leaves only airport backgrounds looking like that,

please state what other addons you have, from any developer.

In the end, you might need to uninstall and reinstall P3D but please try the fixes first.

Here is a topic that explains how to refresh P3D with the minimum impact.

It's written for P3D v5 but works in exactly the same way for P3D v4.
