Missing texture and spiked terrain around KPDX

Recommended Posts

On a descent flight into Seattle, just above Portland, OR (KPDX) I've noticed what seemed to be missing textures.

After I positioned the plane at KPDX and looked around, I also saw spiked terrain around the airport as well as the missing textures.

I verified the files for the Base Pack, LC North America, Pacific Northwest, Central Rockies and Portland Cityscape.

I uninstalled and re-installed Pacific Northwest, Central Rockies and Portland Cityscape, but the problem remains. I do not have any other scenery for the area.

Removing Portland Cityscape does not change anything. Removing the Pacific Northwest, get's rid of the texture issues not the spikes, but that is not a solution obviously.

What else should I do at this stage to get this fixed?

Hello,

large areas of pale brown can be caused by the scenery order being incorrect.

You can use Orbx Central\Insertion Point to set Airports and Regions at the top,

or just below any other developers' products if you had any and open LC below

Airports and Regions. Wait for the blue banner to turn green.

This is how the nearby hills look with the open LC scenery libraries deliberately

misplaced above the Airports and Regions.

This is how it should look

I am not seeing spikes but I do not know exactly where I should be looking.
