Vidal1984
I downloaded the Global Base Pack and Buildings HD, but black squares are appearing on the ground. I uninstalled and reinstalled several times. Same problem. This is ruining my whole flight sim experience. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Not a big techie here. I have the DX10 preview checked off in the graphics setting in FSX. I still have the same problem. Everything was normal before I downloaded the products. The color of the squares changed from black to blue I really don't know what to do. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Nick Cooper
Thanks, you must have a tick in the Preview Direct X 10 box and you need to remove it and restart FSX. Here is the topic that explains your options.
Vidal1984
Thanks. I unchecked the Direct X 10. It seemed to solve the issue, but will I need that program to run Orbx smoothly and other programs? WIll I need Direct X 10 in the future. Thanks for your help. Nick Cooper
No, you will be able to run it without the preview.
