AnkH Posted April 18, 2020 Share Posted April 18, 2020 Hi all, I know we should not re-download everything for v5 due to the load this generates for the servers. However, I would need to move now almost all my v4 installations first to the library, then manually copy this to the v5 library and then verify all products. This simply takes forever, the migration to library is extremely slow... Furthermore, there is no batch-processing possibility. However, there is a batch download possibility, at least via queued downloads and nowadays, even if the product is several GB, downloading and installing is just faster than above step. Isn't there a way to speed things up? What is the risk of simply copying the full Orbx folder from v4 to v5? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Adding it with a symbolic link might also work but I don't know if the subsequent updates for v5 will break them for v4. This has not been tested.
