TigerTigerM Posted April 5, 2020 Share Posted April 5, 2020 Took the experimental AN-2 Turbine Ag Truck , [without spray boons), out to the Channel Islands from Santa Barbara, late afternoon. TTM (P3D v4.5) Leaving Santa Barbara. Top down view shows the rugged nature of the islands. There is an air strip below the aircraft, at about 7 o'clock. Circling around below the mist, looking for Christy airstrip. Remnants of mist. Christy strip. Descent straight into the late afternoon sun. AN-2 can hold 55 kia in steep dive due to its massive flap area. Coming in heavily nose down. No problems other than sun. On the ground, pickup truck & driver over by the hangar.
