Roadrunner505
Dear all, I am a bit confused. While trying to get Madeira X running I played a bit with the scenery. Suddenly there was desert instead of the ocean. Now I have found out, that I have to deactivate FTX_Vector_EXX to see waves again. Whenever I turn on this library again the water is gone. I have searched the net but did not get any answer, what this library has to do with it. Only others reported that they had various issues which were only solved when it was turned off.... Can anybody tell me what this library does and what it could have to do with this desert/ocean issue? I even restored the folder from a backup half a year ago and the result was the same..... Nick Cooper
Hello, welcome to the forums. Please have a look at this topic. It is in the compatibility forum, a search of which for "Madeira" will reveal more good advice.
Roadrunner505
Thank you all for your good hints. Finally I installed MadeiraXEvolution, changed all settings as recommended above and now it looks like this. God knows what it was before - in the meantime I had forrests and meadows instead of the ocean, but I´m glad it works now....
