Bastlwastl
Hello, can someone explain what's going on with theese double (or triple) entries? or if it's normal Thank you! Operating system: Simulator: Screenshot: Issue:
Nick Cooper
Hello, it looks like there are some residual files in the ORBX folder. Unless you see any anomalies, I would suggest that you leave the scenery library as it is.
Bastlwastl
No Problems so far, but there has to be a reason for this. Orbx direct creates the double folders even if i do reinstall all of the Orbx stuff. Would be great if that could be investigated Thank you
Nick Cooper
Hello, I understand that the Melbourne office is closed now for Christmas. I expect that they will answer after that unless they do before.
Bastlwastl
Ok, thank you for your answer Another question here, is it normal that Obrx "deletes" some scenery entries like "[Area.004]" for example ? theese entries have been there before and are gone now. Thank you!

Mitchell Williamson
Hi! Sorry for the delay in getting back to you - we've recently returned from the Christmas break. The duplicate folders are normal, you can find more information about this in the user guide. Quote I see duplicate Orbx entries with numbers in their title (e.g ORBX!OPENLC_zBASE (2)) This is normal to see when installing certain products into libraries. When installed into the simulator, some products (like openLC) would've installed some of their files into the same folder as other products. When installed into a library, all the products are split apart into self-contained packages. Due to this, each product will have its own copy of those folders. Orbx Central handles these automatically and this is why you will see numbers after some entries. This shouldn't cause any issues and is likely due to the layering method Orbx Central uses. The actual content of Area.004 and the others has simply been moved to different areas. I've noted this issue for our team though.
