magnetite
Hi, I was flying at San Francisco, and I noticed this clipping issue that only occurs when I enable the Northern California region. The runways flicker. If I uninstall it, and use Global, Vector and OpenLC, it doesn't appear. PS: Wasn't sure what forum to put this in. I remember you had a payware support forum a while back. Nick Cooper
Hello, you don't need to uninstall any product to test its effect. You can simply untick it in the scenery library. Can you post a copy of your scenery.cfg file please?
magnetite
Here's the scenery.cfg file. It seems the issue was caused by Vector's AEC feature not adding KSFO to the list. Going into C:\Prepar3D v4\ORBX\FTX_VECTOR\FTX_VECTOR_APT\scenery and renaming the file ABP_KSFO.bgl to ABP_KSFO.inactive fixed it. I had to do a similar thing for PNW and Seattle's KSEA airport. The Vector tool should be able to do this automatically, instead of having to manually check and rename files. scenery.cfg
Doug Sawatzky
Hi The Vector AEC tool is not required for and does not have any affect on KSFO. The Vector entries in your scenery library are not supposed to be at the top, rather they are required to remain where the installer puts them. magnetite
So should I uninstall and reinstall everything?
Nick Cooper
Hello, no. Just run the Insertion Point tool in FTX or Orbx Central and it should undo the damage that you have done.
magnetite
I see the Insertion Point settings in ORBX Central, but I don't see any tool to fix it. Or am I supposed to select something myself? Not sure what to do.
Nick Cooper
Hello, click on the drop down list at the top and select your chosen position. Do the same for the bottom window and you will see the blue notification appear and then change to green.
