olderndirt Posted August 8, 2019 Share Posted August 8, 2019 Hot and dry - almost a desert but stuff really grows. Tri Cities - Kennewick on the left, Pasco on the right and Richland center back. The Snake River, lower right flows into the Columbia and lots of agriculture going on. Appropriately named 'Desert Aire', a homeowner community with airport, marina and gold course. Reputed to be the hottest, driest spot in Washington. Looks like a desert to me. City of Yakima - apples, wine and 77% of U.S. hop production. Mc Allister Field where this Carbon Cub was born.
