Centigrade
Good morning, Just on the north side of Quito (SECU) there is a horizontal East-West line of mesh that is abnormal/sunken/canyon-like. Tried doing a reinstall of the Freeware Mesh to no avail. Mesh is set to 5m. Currently doing a full reinstall of OpenLC SA to try that as well. If I disable all ORBX SA scenery/mesh, the default land is normal.
Centigrade
Reinstall of OpenLC SA did not help. One thing did stand out with testing however, and that is the very same piece of land is messed up if I use the ORBX OpenLC SA Mesh or the FreeMeshX for the region. Did you guys happen to use the FreeMeshX for your SA Mesh? Both give the exact same error at that latitude strip. Everything else is fine.
Nick Cooper
Hello, thanks for your report. Mesh data is pretty much universal and therefore any errors will be present in any uncorrected mesh product, all of which must share the same data. We could ask @Holger Sandmann
Holger Sandmann
Hi there, looks like there's an issue with our SA freeware mesh files in that area, e.g., at S0.001° W78.510°. I'll let the developer know. The file in question is !OLC_SA_mesh_A.bgl in \ORBX\FTX_OLC\OLC_SA1\Scenery. As a temporary work-around renaming it to !OLC_SA_mesh_SAx.bgl seems to make the trench disappear. Cheers, Holger
