Doc_Z
My scenery.cfg file appears to be all messed up (missing many default entries). I know if i delete it, P3d will rebuild it and, I believe, FTXCentral will reinstall the ORBX sceneries. Will I lose my other add-on scenery? Nick Cooper
Hello, yes you would lose all your scenery library entries.
Doc_Z
Central will restore the ORBX entries, correct? If I make a backup of the scenery.cfg file before deleting, can I copy the add-ons back to the new file?
Nick Cooper
Yes indeed.
Doc_Z
Thanks. You are, as usual, a great source of swift, correct answers.
Doc_Z
I had previously moved my ORBX folder to a different drive, but since the link wasn't working I thought I should delete that folder and move the one from my P3d root to that drive. Somehow or other, I ended up corrupting my root folder and now I have to reinstall everything. I do have backups, thankfully.
Doc_Z
In an effort to save time: if I move my ORBX folder to the new drive with only a few things in it and set up the symbolic link, will my remaining reinstalls just go to the moved ORBX folder? Nick Cooper
Yes, with the symbolic link created successfully, they will.
