tooting
Hello first flight into orlando using PMDG 744. I get blurries, stutters, and black textures. I dont experience this at any other airport / area apart from Orlando using city scene. I have a 1080ti and a 8700k, so its not my rig. How could you not of tested your product with a quality addon such as the PMDG 747 or similar is beyond me. https://i.postimg.cc/5NSR6MtD/2019-1-30-21-19-38-209.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/TwbkxzS7/2019-1-30-21-20-47-800.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/4yTWx8RJ/2019-1-30-21-21-36-190.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/PqP33pMk/2019-1-30-21-22-9-99.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/VvBDrjzX/2019-1-30-21-23-26-222.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/fRHqfjmK/2019-1-30-21-24-5-349.jpg some help is needed. John Dow
When using complex aircraft such as the PMDG 747 the scenery needs to be dialled back to compensate for the complexity and demands on that aircraft. This is a well known factor in FSX/P3D. If you reduce your LOD to small, then the various complexity sliders to mid range, etc, the scenery should be able to manage your aircraft reasonably well. As far as testing with that aircraft and similar, I'm sorry but testing is done with default aircraft as a rule, that is the basis on which the scenery is deemed to be running well enough for release. No one uses default aircraft and the settings are are fine with all the other addons apart from orlando city scape, as well as other people having the issue. Yes and that is the problem faced by developers, when people try to combine scenery that is cutting edge and demanding with aircraft that are demanding, something has to give. And while many people don't use default aircraft, many do use aircraft that are not as demanding as the PMDG style, for instance my Realair Legacy is as easy on the system as the default aircraft despite being a serious model. Until you can get a computer that can run the complex airliners and complex scenery packages together, you need to reduce the load on your computer. It's physics, only a certain amount of data can be processed by a CPU/GPU combination. Lower the scenery settings for complex airliners and you should find a good compromise. Dadtom65
I would think quite a few people like me use default aircraft as not everyone can afford £140 for top of the range aircraft. Mean I do have other aircraft installed but they are just what I call normal aircraft like the A2A Comanche and others similar. Derek.
