Orbx12
I have just purchased Bill Womack's KPDX scenery and runways appear to be sunken (see screen shot). In FSX:Steam, the fix for this was to run the AEC Correction app. However, I cannot find this for P3Dv4.3. I have updated my P3Dv4 in FTX Central 3 to the latest version it offers. Where do I find the AEC Correction app or is there a different solution to AEC issues in P3D? Thanks. Steve
Nick Cooper
Hello, the AEC correction app is more commonly known as the Vector control panel and can be accessed either from the Vector product page or the settings page, both in FTX Central. If you don't have Vector, then the problem is not with it.
BradB
I had the same issue , read this : It's likely you're running another product that has added an elevation adjustment file for KPDX. 1 - Use the Flightbeam Manager's troubleshooting tool to automatically find files causing this. 2 - If the above doesn't work, look in your root P3D4 folder, under "Scenery\World\scenery" and do a search for "kpdx". If any files turn up in the search, set their file extension to ".OFF" to disable them. This should restore your runway elevations.
