AJ92nd
Hello! Coming back to AeroFly and enjoying the new R22 in the Netherlands in VR, I've run into this problem: The wind turbines suddenly have become UFO's... See picture. I am running Aerofly through steam and have installed True Earth Netherlands via FTX Central 3. I have already revalidated both Aerofly and TE, but the problem persists... Running Aerofly on Vulkan. PC: windows 10, i5 6600K, 32GB RAM, 1080GTX and Oculus. Any ideas? Greetings, AJ
Nick Cooper
Hello, how do they look if the simulator is not run in the "Vulkan" mode?
AJ92nd
The same problem in OpenGL All the wind turbines in the scenery look like this now, but the picture was taken at EHLE. Thanks for the quick reply btw...
AJ92nd
I also tried to lower the graphics settings, which does not help (although running fine on ultra), and untill now only seem to effect the wind turbines...
HiFlyer
Confirmed. I also have the issue.
Nick Cooper
Hello, yes, I see this too. Logically, since there has been no updtae to the Orbx product, something has been done to the simulator to cause this.
HiFlyer
I have posted the issue on the Ipacs forums. https://www.aerofly.com/community/forum/index.php?thread/13759-problem-reported-with-orbx-netherlands-after-update/
Jester300
Ipacs closed the thread and passed the problem to Orbx ,
Nick Cooper
Hello, yes I see that they have. Personally, I have done nothing at all to the original installation of TE Netherlands and the wind turbines are broken, yet they were not so. Hopefully there can be a behind the scenes discussion as to what might have happened. I have opened a topic at IPACs myself asking for there to be such communication. CaptChaos037
I saw the same thing. Also this evening when I fired it up the Netherlands is now awash with trees which it wasn't last night.
Nick Cooper
I see that the problem with the turbines has been acknowledged as a bug and attention has been promised.

HiFlyer
Allow Aerofly to update, and you should find that the issue has been addressed.

drassaud
The problem is solve by the last update for me. Great to fly Netherland and ORBX scenes whit the R22. An ORBX update is it planned to have hélipad on the scenes ? Thanks
AJ92nd
Yes it is solved after the update! Thanks for the quick handeling of this issue! And hopefully future updates will indeed include more helipads (bases, hospitals, offshore, moving ships...) and better depicture of water; which looks a bit too solid now. Thanks!
