Matthew Kane
I am flying over the Caribbean and getting these black scenery on pretty much all the islands. Using P3Dv4 with all the ORBX Global Packs, Vector OpenLC. Any ideas what is causing this? They are not square just irregular black shapes. Scott Harmes
That's a tricky one Matthew. I for one haven't seen an issue like this before. Can you post a pic with some coordinates and I will have a look. Cheers,
Matthew Kane
Hi Scott, Here are a few more shots with coordinates starting in Guadaloupe, the other is the volcano in Montserrat, I've also spotted it in Panama and Chile but not as many as in the Caribbean. Nothing in North America or Europe. Montserrat
Scott Harmes
Hi Matthew, Actually I have seen this before, now I see the issue close up. I think the only fix for this is to reinstall OpenLC_NA, which covers the Caribbean. Using FTX Central, first try the "Verify files" option. This may fix the issue. If not you will need to uninstall and then reinstall the product. Cheers,
Richard Lincoln
Hi, Might pay to backup your Terrain .cfg and then delete it, reboot and rebuild one, go the the location again and see if the issue is still present.
Matthew Kane
Problem solved, it was the 'Verify' option that worked. I reinstall my ORBX files from a backup location instead of downloading to save on the server demands, so probably something got missed in my last reinstall of P3D. Thanks guys, you are legends
