jplum
Just installed the excellent EGHI Southampton on top of EU Region England on FTX Global base in FSX Gold sp2. EGHI displays well but a few miles away at Lee-On-Solent the taxiways are now on raised terrain a few feet above existing terrain. Turning off Orbx EGHI in Scenery Library would appear to confirm it's the culprit for causing the issue. Any ideas please?
Doug Sawatzky
Hi First, please apply the below process. Ensure the Orbx Libs are installed and up to date. (is there a blue notification above the settings button in FTXC3?) Ensure all of your 3rd party non Orbx addons are at the top of your scenery library and above your FTX entries. Then in FTX Central 3 Insertion points, move "FTX entries should be inserted below" just below your last 3rd party addon. Then move the "openLC entries should be inserted below" just below your FTX entries. and click "Save". Then, if you have Vector installed, there is a Vector control panel access button at the bottom of the FTXC3 settings page. When you open it you can select the amount of road coverage etc, be sure to uncheck the "Frozen Surface (in winter only)"option, and check the Australia Add-Ons under the “Settings” tab, then go to the Airport Elevation Correction (AEC tool) tab and run the auto configuration process and be sure to click on "Appy" when it is done scanning. I don't have vector installed just FTX EU_England region. As I say; it only happens if I have EGHI scenery Ticked in the Scenery Library - so I'm guessing it's a file in the EGHI Folder. Doug Sawatzky
Is there maybe any clues in the below topic?

Had that one today Doug as I purchased EGHA at the same time - that was a quick fix by deletion of that created elevationExclude file. This seems different. I'm playing with ref data and elevations in ADE at present. Slow process but I'll get there. Cheers.
Doug Sawatzky
Do you have any non Orbx addons for this area? I have been doing some flying around there and don't have any issues. Maybe do a "Verify Files" for both the region and the airport? Also, posting screenshots is always helpful.
BernieFlyer
I too have a similar issue with EGHF FSX version (see screen captures below). It seems an elevation issue. I have checked all the things above and I am aok. I have Global Base and EU England with EGHI (which is fine). I definitely only have FTX EGHF files showing in my FSX directory search (*EGHF*). It would be really nice to clear this up. Regards Bernie
Nick Cooper
Yes, I see it too, it has been reported before but apparently the fix has been overlooked. Here is the solution.

jplum
Yes, thanks Nick. This worked a treat for me too. Now EGHI and EGHF are once more displaying perfectly.
