Andrew Grey
Ive been trying to get the free GA traffic pack installed. I have no GA traffic showing up. I also use WOAI traffic which is all showing up fine. I use the AIFP program to convert fs9 files to FSX. I've done all that. I have no fs9 files floating around anywhere after checking. All my WOAI traffic shows up fine. But no Orbx GA traffic at KVNY, the busiest GA airport in America. I'm using FSX-SE with just FTX Global and night lighting. I also use UTX for vectors. I have all the FTX aircraft in the proper folders, all the traffic files are in the scenery/world/scenery folder and i have an AFCAD for KVNY installed. I have added the line to my fsx.cfg file: SimObjectPaths.6=SimObjects\Airplanes\AI Airplanes Still nothing. Anything else you need to know, just ask. What gives here? I have zero GA traffic flying around. Thanks, Andrew
lawrence aldrich
Welcome to the club. I also use world of ai and was unable to get the GA pack working. WOAI works fine, but, apparently is not compatible with the ORBX AI pack. I have no idea why , unless there is some oddball interaction with the WOAI FS9 heritage. Good luck.....I finally gave up trying. (I bought the GA360 payware…..works very well)
Holger Sandmann
Hi Andrew, try airports in western Washington or Oregon because the flightplan coverage is limited to (primarily) FTX Pacific Northwest: https://orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/142756-na-ga-ai-traffic-issue-no-ai-traffic-at-all/?do=findComment&comment=1259899 Cheers, Holger
Andrew Grey
Thanks, Holger. It's working. I finally had a bunch of GA aircraft in the sky on a flight from KBFI to KPDX. Works great.
