catplace
Whenever I fly over non-ORBX scenery for a few minutes, the scenery tiles get randomly replaced with the wrong times (seemingly fully-zoomed-out earth images). This happens over other add-ons and default scenery. The insertion points seem logical (below all other add-ons, but above Prepar3d default scenery). When I disable all ORBX!OPENLC entries, the problem goes away. Is this supposed to happen?
Dieter
Your enquiry has been overlooked apparently ... Well, I'm not the expert but this might be a so called texture morphing. Are you sure you set you insertion points correctly concerning ORBX!OPENLC entries? Nick Cooper
Hello, please try reinstalling FTX Global Base, as advised in the linked topic.
catplace
Thanks for the replies! I didn't mean to ignore them; I must have stuffed up my email notification settings. I've now uninstalled EVERYTHING (Prepar3D included), and am reinstalling one by one. At this stage, I'm thinking I should install FTX AFTER installing everything else; is that correct? The reinstallation will probably include FTX Global Base—although I don't know what 'linked topic' is meant. I did check various other posts and sites for tips, but most of them seemed to predate global LC.
Nick Cooper
Hello, the linked topic is in Dieter's post, where you will see a link to a topic. One of the suggestions in that topic is that FTX Global Base was in need of reinstallation because the simulator seemed to be calling for textures that were not available to it, as yours possibly was. Completely reinstalling everything is usually effective.
