mopperle Posted October 2, 2018 Share Posted October 2, 2018 Kiruna is really a masterpiece. Congrats to the devs. I was only suprised when I got hard winter on 2nd October. I've been several times at Kiruna in the past years during fall and winter, but have never seen so much snow in fall. When looking from above only the surrounding of Kiruna and especially towards Norway is covered with so much snow. Could there be some influence from FTX Norway? For ESSD is a switch for FTX Norway although Dala is far more away from Norway then Kiruna. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

We made a custom season-switch for Kiruna as the default & FTX Norway differed very much in timing for the snow-period to kick in. This was the best middle-ground where it blended the best. If I'm not mistaken it snowed in Kiruna last week already! However, if you find the snow to be too intense for the period you can turn off the snowpiles manually in FTX Central and just turn them on later on in the season and you will get a milder winter until then with just flat snow in the area.
