Kevan
I am in the process of moving across from FSX SE to Prepare3D V4. The base Prepare3D V4 programme has installed onto my SSD Disc, and I have just installed ORBX Global onto the SSD as well, but the SSD disc space is now just about full. I obviously still need to install multiple other ORBX files and would appreciate some guidance or advice on the best way to set things up. Is there any way I can install the ORBX libraries onto my larger HDD and leave the base Prepare 3D V4 to run from the SSD, or do they need to operate from the same disc please? Either way, any advice on if and how to move anything onto my separate HDD would be much appreciated. Thanks
Smudger
Hello Kevan, the best way would be to install the whole Orbx folder on your larger drive, here is Nick's guide that will lead you through it, using a Symbolic Link. Nick Cooper
Hello, if your SSD is so full or small that 65 or so GB has filled it, it would probably be ebtter to install the whole of P3D onto the drive where there is room for it. If you really don't want to do that, your can do this instead. and you will probably need to do this too.
Kevan
Thank You Smudger and Nick. The symbolic link worked with program now running on SSD, and ORBX scenery being linked/located on the larger HDD. Thank you both very much for your prompt and succinct responses.
