Ulrich Seeckt
Probably this is not the right forum. Feel free to move it. Since more than 1 year has passed by, ESNK is still sitting in the middle of river. Is there any chance to get it fixed? Regards Ulrich
Jack the Swede in Spain
ESNK? As far as I know ORBX have not released ESNK (Kramfors/Sollefteå Sweden). Jack the Swede in Spain Edited June 28, 2018 by JJJackson
Ulrich Seeckt
But it is found here: FSX/ORBX/FTX_VECTOR/FTX_VECTOR_APT/scenery
Nick Cooper
Hello, that is not an airport but an FTX Vector file. I have moved your topic. Thanks for the report. It appears that in this case, the airport is correctly placed but that Vector has misplaced the lake. It will be noted for any future update. Ulrich Seeckt
Thanks. But how can the problem be solved?
Nick Cooper
Hello, the problem can be solved by an update to Vector to correct the problem. For this reason, I have noted the topic and placed it at the top of the forum with all the other requests for updates. There is no other way, except to stop using Vector. Sorry. westbros
Hi Nick I reported this issue nearly 2 years ago: https://orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/129279-esnk-sitting-in-middle-of-river/?tab=comments#comment-1150683 As discussed in that thread this is clearly a Vector issue. The runway is in the right place. It's just the island that it sits on that is missing. Back then I was still on FSX. Now I'm on P3D v 4.3 and the problem is just the same, which I guess isn't surprising, because Vector is Vector. Can someone please give us an idea on when we can expect a Vector update? Many thanks. Nick Cooper
Hello, you are quite correct and it was indeed reported to the Vector developers at the beginning of 2017. It is apparent that the latest Vector update, 1.6 has unfortunately not included the requested fix.
westbros
Hi Nick Thanks for your reply. So can you please give me an idea of when the next update might come out and whether ESNK will be included? I have to say that I am disappointed and it begs the question of what the point is of reporting problems that then don't get fixed... Many thanks. Nick Cooper
Hello, you make a fair point. I cannot however say when there will be another Vector update. Sorry.
