Gabe777
No doubt due to my RW ignorance, but the VASI lights on the approach from the bridge side (190 ?) the red lights are flashing - never seen this... is it normal as I've noticed it on people's videos. Normally, PAPI and VASI lights have steady white and red lights to mark out the virtual glideslope, but mine flash. Wondering if it may be an elevation issue, given it appears to a little sloped like Hammerfest, or is it meant to flash ? Grateful for any education on this matter ! Thnx
bvdboomen
To my knowledge all the fields in Norway have that flashing system.
gaab
These are Pulsation Light Approach Slope Indicator (PLASI) Blinking white = above glide slope Steady white = ON glise slope Blinking red = Below glide slope I must say I find them a little bit confusing... Fortunatly, red is still "to low"
