carlosqr Posted March 12, 2018 Share Posted March 12, 2018 Hi there Me again, sorry. It happens that I got a third party airport, Sydney, but once installed it shows two towers.. I aked on their site (no reply yet) but as I also have Australia by Orbx, I wonder if you could give me a light of how to get rid of one of the towers. In the menu their seems to be two Sydney locations but one with a Z instead of a Y, I believe this might be causing this issue And before you ask yes, I un installed and re installed but the issue remains. carlosqr Posted March 12, 2018 Author Share Posted March 12, 2018 Hi Nick Actually, before installing the third party addon it seems Orbx created a folder with this file: ZSSY_ADEX_FLYTAMPA.BGL But after the installation it also shows: ADEX_YSSY_GL_2015.bgl.BAK They replied saying: Both ADEX_YSSY_GL_2015.bgl & ZSSY_ADEX_FLYTAMPA.BGL are part of Flytampa's Sydney scenery. I would guess that his will be related to the relative positioning of your addon in the scenery library or the way is has been possibly misintalled. The FTX file is purely to allow the use of FTX AI aircraft at the airport and will have no effect on the airport scenery itself. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
carlosqr Posted March 12, 2018 Author Share Posted March 12, 2018 Hi Nick Yes: I would guess that his will be related to the relative positioning of your addon in the scenery library I thought the same but as I have nothing else installed I couldn't fine a way to solve it This happens also with The Jesus Christ in Rio de Janairo and a third party addon but at least I know that deleting some bgls in the world scenery fix it but I don't know which could be the ones for Sydney tower/airport Besides it is ifficult to fly here every six seconds the scenary "jumps" feels like it wants to stuck, you can't fly smoothly :-( I'll keep on searching Thanks for this: The FTX file is purely to allow the use of FTX AI aircraft at the airport and will have no effect on the airport scenery itself.
