One question, I m thinking of switching from fsx to p3d v4 and now... if i owned already few orbx addons for fsx do I have to buy new one for p3d or "old" one will work with p3d? Nick Cooper Posted March 8, 2018 Share Posted March 8, 2018 Hello, you will need to install FTX Central version 3 , if you have not already done so. Once you install P3D and have run it once, when FTX Central starts, you will see a menu allowing you to choose which simulator you want it to work with. Having selected P3D, you must then install all your products agian but if you leave your FSX installation in place, most of the files will be copied from that, leaving not too much to download. There is no cost*, all the products are compatible with both versions of FSX and all four versions of P3D, subject to you following the advice above. Note. *If any of your products are on DVD not bought at the Flight Sim Store, you will need to "cross grade" them, there is a small fee for this. If any of your products are bought from the Flight Sim Store, you will have to transfer your product licences to Orbx Direct, there is no cost.
