ORBX Global Lights Configurator Error

Recommended Posts

So I recently got a new SSD for my PC and was installing P3D v4.2 along with all the ORBX products I own. As I was getting things all tweaked,  I noticed that when I went in the global lights configurator and tried to click apply to the light settings I selected I kept getting this error. I have uninstalled global lights numerous times and still get the same result. I believe it had to do with corrupt files but i'm unsure how to fix the problem. Please help,  Thanks!

It seems I have not made myself clear.

It is compatible with "v4" but not if the "v4" installation is incorrect.

When you installed P3D version 4 what was the exact location that you installed it to?

If you use Windows Explorer to look at your F:\ drive, are the P3D files all over the drive

or are they all inside one folder?

It looks as if the files are in F:\Prepar3D v4 but that the Lights tool is looking for F:\scenery\Global\scenery instead of

F:\Prepar3D v4\scenery\Global\scenery.

It should be reading from the registry entry for P3D v4.

FTX Central should read the same registry entry and will not find Prepar3D.exe and so not recognise it.

You could try uninstalling and then reinstalling the P3D v4 client only.
