Mackenzie Davis
Hi all, I am using P3D v4.1 and am experiencing issues with all my ORBX scenery having transparent and black Ground Service Equipment/Ground Vehicles. Have tried doing a forced reinstall of libraries without any luck. A localised scenery which I'm experiencing issues with is ORBX YBBN (Brisbane) where at night the buildings, namely the jetway extensions turn semi-transparent and some airside and landside trees become corrupt. See the following images. Cheers, Mackenzie
Nick Cooper
Hello, Have you "enhanced" your copy of P3D with software that modifies the shaders? I would suggest that you reinstall both the airport and the Orbx libraries. You can do both like this: Quote 1. If FTX Central v3 does not automatically update the libraries, you can go to ORBX\User Documents\Versions\ and delete FTX_AA_ORBXLIBS.TXT . Run FTX Central again and only the files that you need will be downloaded and installed. For the airport, the file to delete is FTX_AU_YBBN.TXT
Mackenzie Davis
Thanks for the reply. Alright I'll try reinstall all the ORBX airports. Yes, I use PTA to adjust P3D v4's shaders. Is there a certain category or value in PTA which causes it as only a few ORBX airports experience it in my sim?
Nick Cooper
Hello, I don't know the answer to that one. How does the airport look if you restore the original shaders?
Mackenzie Davis
Restoring the shaders to default fixed the transparent building issues and tree issues at YBBN. However, deleting all my ORBX Airports .txt files and the Libraries .txt file and reinstalling all of them through FTX Central did not work. GSE at all my ORBX airports continues to show up like this. s
Nick Cooper
Perhaps try reinstalling the libraries. The file to delete is FTX_AA_ORBXLIBS.TXT
Mackenzie Davis
I did that as well.
thokle
Same issue for me, but only for the trees. Indeed it seems to be a conflict between shaders and I guess some material of the texture. I use Envshade for the shaders.
