fltsimguy
I just bought GES, it installed according to Central. I went flying and I have no GES scenery. I check the Orbx folder, I have four GES folders and in documents I have the manual and kmz file installed. I used the control panel to set preferences. I checked my scenery library though the sim and I do not have GES layers active. I could add these myself but am wondering why the scenery layers were not activated? Is there a fix for this? Nick Cooper
Hello Bryan, Please do this and click on Save.
fltsimguy
I did this Nick and it added the entries. Thanks. Simple fix. I have never had to redo the "save" to get entries into scenery.cfg before, is this new? Also, weird...this keeps adding additional OZX layers lower down below FTX in my scenery.cfg and I have to keep deleting them. Don't understand why this might be happening. Nick Cooper
Hello Bryan, Have a look in ORBX\scripts and see if there is perhaps an OzX scenerylib cfg file left over. You don't have to use the Insertion Point\Save method unless you have closed FTX Central before it has written to the scenery library itself. It can take 10 to 15 seconds before this happens and if you close FTX Central, there will indeed be no new scenery library entries.
