jpreou
I've looked but can't work it out ... is there a way to exclude specific forums completely from my "Only see new posts since my last visit" activity stream? I'd prefer to concentrate my quick review / scan on just those forums that are relevant to me. If I want to look elsewhere, I can do so 'manually'. Nick Cooper
Hello, you can create your own custom activity stream, adding whichever forums you want to see and leaving out those that you do not want to see. You will see the categories, select the ones you want and save that as a new activity stream.
jpreou
Thanks Nick, I'll see if I can work that out; in the stream I have now there are filters, but not for forums, so I'll create a new stream and see what I see... UPDATE ... hmmm, nope, or maybe I'm doing something wrong? Create new stream and I get: Title/name, Show Me, Tags, Clicking Unread Items, Read Status, Following, Content Types, Ownership, Time Period, Default View Can't see anything in there about selecting or not selecting specific forums Am I in the right place? Nick Cooper
Hello, you can select which forums in content types and its sub menu, topics. I don't have a user guide but if you investigate, you should be able to just select what you want to see.
jpreou
Hi Nick, thank you so much. I did find it now at Content Types > Topics > click the little light gray gear wheel and there's the drop down. I had missed that little gear wheel before because I only see it when I actually select topics and then hover the mouse over it, and it is very light gray as well. So thanks, all sorted
