resolved P3D v4 hotfix 1 CTD after installing Open LC NA - nothing to do with OLC NA

I get a CTD after installing Open LC NA in P3D v4 with hotfix 1. I get to the scenario screen but when I OK and then I get a  KERNELBASE.dll error.

 

Any idea.

I also included the DxDiag file form %appdata%\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4.

I uninstalled KB4038788 but had no affect. The problem still exists.

Does P3D start from the default flight?

NO! I tried also deleting the Prepar3D.cfg, so the system can re-create it, but same result.

You can disable Open LC NA by going to ORBX\Scripts and renaming

openlc_lib_na1.txt

openlc_lib_na2.txt

to .off.

Then run FTX Central and wait until you see the activating Orbx scenery message.

The OLC NA scenery library entries should be removed and if your theory is correct, P3D will then start.

I already try it by dissabling OLC NA through Scenery Config Editor and P3D runs witout any issue.

Here I have Open LC NA, Open LC SA, Open LC EU and

every other FTX product and P3D v4 works as it should.

 

Do you have any scenery installed using the xml method?

I manage to fix it by deleting the Default.fxml and Default.wx files from \Documents\Prepar3D v4 Files folder.
