Capt Ron
I see you now have a page for old DVD update, I have the need for five North America updates as per what my FTX Central tells me. They are for Central Rockies, Northern Rockies, Pacific Northwest, Northern California and Pacific Fjords. Now do I tell which from your list are the right ones for me. Nick Cooper
It depends on what you have now. Only you will know that.
Capt Ron
But I do not know this is the first time it has come up. Is there a place / list folder on my computer that will show what updates I have ?
Nick Cooper
Which version of FTX Central do you have?

Nick Cooper
Click on the product icon and then hover your mouse over the white circle with the tick in it. A tooltip will appear, telling you which version you have installed.
Capt Ron
OK, I downloaded the latest for all five areas and that cleaned up all the needed update save one. I still need NCA 1.3.0. but that is not on your list it only has 1 and 2.
Nick Cooper
That update was only to add the new type of lighting. If you have Open LC NA, you already have it.
Capt Ron
I tried downloading OLC NA 115 and when I did that it said I now need FTX Global openLC north America which it is now auto downloading hopefully this will fix the last area. Nick Cooper
Perhaps you might now transfer your DVD licence to Orbx Direct?
Capt Ron
I am not sure I know how to do that, I do not remember from which online site I downloaded that product. How would I go about doing that?
Nick Cooper
Hello, Here is a link to the topic on the new process. You will need to be able to produce proof of purchase from one of the online suppliers. You will find a list of them, perhaps it might help to jog your memory. If you use an internet based mail service, as you may do, it is usual to be able to search you old e mails too.
Capt Ron
Tks will give it a try.
Ed Correia
Northern California was not available on DVD. It used to be available through the Flightsim Store but now only OrbxDirect.
Capt Ron
Ok I did the upgrade and all was good. But I am still showing a up date for Northern California that I can not get to download ??
Ed Correia
You don’t have Northern California in your OrbxDirect account and I see you have already transferred your FSS purchases. Do you recall how you purchased Northern California?
Capt Ron
No I do not recall where I got it, but it has to be online. if you could find your way clear as an act of good faith to add it to my account , I would be willing to pay the upgrade fee. As you can see I got many many of your products and will buy more.
Ed Correia
If you could provide FSS order numbers than yes I can add products to your account. Without those then I will not be able to assist.
Capt Ron
could you give me a list of what site sold this product and maybe I can find where I got it from
Alex Goff
Northern California was released in early 2015, a while after we phased out DVD sales in 2013. It was available exclusively through FSS as a download with an option for a DVD backup. Given that, it is likely you may have purchased it using another FSS account, try checking all email addresses for the receipt.
Capt Ron
thank you for all your help but we are both spending far too much time on this. I will just buy it again from you and put a end to it. Not happy to pay two time for the same things, but aht can I do?
Nick Cooper
Hello, just before you do that, Alex has told you that it could only have come from the Flight Sim Store, they were the sole vendors. It must be worth a support request to them to enquire how you managed to do this? Presumably you used a different e mail address but also presumably the same name? Capt Ron
I did check my account with FSS and could not find Northern California . Yes my account was under captron@ontera.net to start but was change over to ronlhamelin@gmail.com ar few years ago. The only thing I was wondering is if Northern California could have been part of some other product I got. In any case the point is moot as last night I paid again and downloaded NC. Tks.
