Sundancer Posted August 20, 2017 Share Posted August 20, 2017 Good morning Orbx-team, During the last weeks I read almost everything about the new FTXCV3 stuff. Last week I experienced with the installation of the latest ORBX lib (170701) and over the last days I bought and installed lots of Regions and airports during the Sale. I want to make my compliments for the excellent FTXCV3 tool. All installations went fast, and without any problems. Well done !! I have one final question: I have read several times that the ORBX lib should always be installed as final step, which was already the case in the DVD-time in the older days ;-). Does that mean that I have to reinstall the ORBXlib 170701 again ? If so, maybe it is a good idea to let FTXCV3 indicate this ? (I presume that removing the file FTX_AA_ORBXLIBS.TXT in the ...\User Documents\Versions folder will force the need for reinstalling the lib) I made a short fly through the Regions (EU), but saw no discrepancies, that's why I am asking about reinstallation the ORBX lib. Nick Cooper Posted August 20, 2017 Share Posted August 20, 2017 Hello, Unfortunately some of the older advice here, as in all forums, is now out of date. There is no longer a need to reinstall the libraries. FTX Central v3 keeps the libraries up to date, you need only click on the blue update message whenever it appears.
