andiflyit
Hi all, the update for the FTX Global Textures today didn't work. I found wrong landclass and squares of water instead of land and than land again while flying over. This was at Guadeloupe. Fortunately I told it to make a backup. I now copied the backup in, seems to be like before. Now of course the FTX Central has this update available again, and if it was not useful, you wouldn't have created it. But it must work. Happy flying Andreas
andiflyit
Please, I want an answer by Orbx staff here! In contrast to some other things which I posted here I take this serious. 1. If such an update does not work it can crash my complete sim. 2. I need to know wether this update is now usable or not.
Nick Cooper
Hello, Do you mean that you installed FTX Global or that it was installed and you updated that installation? Please try again and after you have done that, please update the libraries. If they are already installed, this is the way to do that: Quote Go to ORBX\User Documents\Versions\ and delete FTX_AA_ORBXLIBS.TXT . Run FTX Central again and only the files that you need will be downloaded and installed.
andiflyit
Hi Nick, of course I am talking about the update. I will install FTX Central once again before and than try it again. Thank you Andreas
Nick Cooper
If you want the files for any product to be reviewed by FTX Central, just use the same method as with the libraries for that products version text file.
