willard Posted August 7, 2017 Share Posted August 7, 2017 Dear ORBX I use vector for VFR flights and I noticed that some large water bodies (lakes and reservoirs) are missing in Poland. These are depiced in stock FSX and P3D but are not in VECTOR (!?). I made some KML polygons of them that I attach. The missing objects are mostly over 60 years old (reservoirs) and shown on EVERY map (google, OSM etc), they are featured in 6 EUR worth openVFR product too... but certainly vector does not show them. There are (what I found but I'm certain there are more MIAs): - lake zywieckie - lake Miedzybrodzkie - lake porabka - lake goczalkowickie - lake laka - lake sulejowskie - lake orawskie (slovakia border) - lake jeziorsko - lakes pogoria IV and III - lake klimkowka My sim is fine as other lakes (also manmade) are being displayed by vector like Solina reservoir. Flying VFR without these sometimes huge (goczalkowickie 32 km2) objects is unbearable. willard Posted August 7, 2017 Author Share Posted August 7, 2017 it seems sometimes that it was a processing error. see screenshots - clearly there's a river going S-N and suddenly large pond of green with no river... then compare with google and 2nd screen -with my homemade object.... the 3rd screen is vector enabled. That's strange when some much smaller water bodies are included and patterned really detailed. (See 3rd picture from the first post in this thread).
