Dadtom65
My dam monitor has just packed up, it's an LG 27" IPS thing. Only had it about four years as there's a 2013 thing on it. Lucky I had an HP 22" one spare, used to have PlanG on it, very handy. That one must be about well over 20 years old. Any one know of a good monitor, probably go for a 24" one and definitely not an IPS one as will not be able to afford that now. No more than about £150 tops. If it's not FSX it's your gear packing up. Derek.
andy1252
I've got an Acer S271HL which is a 27inch 1920*1080. Got it from Curry's on offer at about £150 a year or so back. Probably an out of manufacturing model by now though but Curry's are worth checking out - they often have deals like this. Also, check out Morgan Computers (online) - they have refurbs and end-of-line bargains and their service is excellent.
Dadtom65
Hi Andy. Thanks for that. Going to get some one to check it's not just the power lead that's up the creek. Plus I will check out Morgan. Derek.
Ken Terry
I would stay with the 27" you will notice the smaller one is not as immersive. Cheers Ken

Dadtom65
Hi Gypsy Pilot. Just to let you know, here in Amazone that would cost me nearly £600. Rip off UK as usual. Just checked that's 750 dollars. Derek.

Mikelab6
Just to let you know, if your monitor can't power ON, most of the time, it's because of some faulty capacitors. It's easy to replace those and the cost of parts is about $5-$10. Do a search on YouTube for your specific monitor and you will find an HOW TO video like this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jyPr3AsZWwo Try to repair it ! You have nothing to loose, your monitor is already dead. Mike
