Eagle Spirit
Reinstalled today in i7 4770 SSD Nvid 780. Large red printing appears on some of the mountain sides. NO CLUE! Anyone have this experience? It looks like it might be "winter" spelled out but a bit jumbled to tell. Thanks, Eagle
Nick Cooper
Hello, If you are seeing ground textures with writing on them, these are default FSX\P3D textures. The writing is left over from the original development by Microsoft. If you own FTX Global Base, re-installing it will remove the problem.
Eagle Spirit
So Nick if I don't own FTX Global Base (which I don't) I'm Shyte outta luck? Guess I'll just uninstall SNZ. FYI, this didn't exist in my previous FSX install. A bit odd it seems. This is just another reason why I haven't purchased Orbx products since 2011. About the time they stopped providing CD's. Seems my reply to download times was removed Nick. I don't see it anywhere. Thanks for input, Eagle
Holger Sandmann
Hi Eagle, no need to jump to conclusions... The NZ Regions are complete packages and don't require Global Base or any other Orbx addon. If you're seeing default landclass textures within New Zealand then either your NZSI installation isn't complete or you have another landclass add-on active at higher display priority. Perhaps posting a couple of representative screenshots, with coordinates blended in (Shift-Z) would help us with further diagnosis. Cheers, Holger P.S.: If you're looking for previous posts of yours you can click on your name and it'll show them
Eagle Spirit
TYVM Holger, I don't have any previous SNZ install on this new FSX (recent) install. Basically re installing everything. Will uninstall SNZ, then try re install. Best Regards, Eagle
