paulb Posted April 10, 2017 Share Posted April 10, 2017 Hi, I purchased Old Warden today. I am having problems! Elevations are wrong - aircraft sunk into ground etc................... Over the Weekend I purchased England and Shoreham. Both worked fine. Whilst trying Old Warden I have changed aircraft to see if that was the issue - no effect. Then I went back to Shoreham - all is fine there. Did a restart and tried Old Warden again. Same problems. I tried a new download - all seems ok. Any suggestions please? Nick Cooper Posted April 10, 2017 Share Posted April 10, 2017 Hello Paul, Elevation problems with any airports are commonly caused by there being elevation adjustment files either present for another version of the same airport or missing. Have a search of scenery\world\scenery for EGTH, there should be two apparently, 000_EGTH_FTX_Exclude_ALT.bgl EGTH_ADEX_GRJ_ALT.bgl If you don't find any more, search any other addon scenery for EGTH and see if you have another version. paulb Posted April 10, 2017 Author Share Posted April 10, 2017 OK................. The problem starts with me! I forgot to disable Old Warden in UK2000 airports. Elevations are now fine, but I am still having problems. Anyway, I have now - Uninstalled Old Warden Deleted two freeware aircraft that I installed over the weekend Tried again.............................. FSX is still not 100% So, I did a shut down and then tried my favourite Spitfire from Orcas. All seems OK I need dinner now as my wife is shouting at me. Will try a reinstall later!
