Bassman
I have a Scenery.cfg in my ProgramsData folder which lists all my known addon scenery, this is on my Drive "C". I also have a Scenery.cfg file in my FSX installation which is on my SSD "E" and this file just lists the original default scenery. When starting FSX I know that it is loading the scenery as listed my "C" drive (although the actual addon scenery folders are installed with my FSX installation on my SSD "E"), so what is the Scenery.cfg in my FSX installation folder doing? Hopefully I hav'nt got you all as totally confused as I am. Any ideas as I am trying to set up Scenery Configurator program and it needs to know which Scenery.cfg to use? Nick Cooper
Actually there are three. Programdata\Microsoft\FSX\ scenery.cfg is the live one. The one in the root folder and the other in C:\Users\your name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX are backups.
