IntergalacticPilot
Hey, I need to uninstall my FTX Global as I am reinstalling it. I need a quick, easy and clean way of doing so. I have looked virtually everywhere and can't find an answer. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Kieran
Triplane
Welcome to the forum(s). Using FTXCv3 go to FTX Global Range, left-click on Global Base Pack, and then click Uninstall..........Doug

Triplane
Did you backup the default textures when it was offered by the original install? If so, all you need to do is copy them back from wherever you told the installer to store them. If you didn't do the backup there is no way to go back other than to reinstall P3D. From the FTX Global user guide: "BACKUP OPTION IMPORTANT! The FTX Global installer will then ask if you want to backup your \Scenery\World\Texture folder. If you choose not to do this, you cannot uninstall FTX Global. We recommend that you backup your previous textures so you can revert back. The installer allows you to specify any location including driver letters, so an external HD drive is possible." Doug

Why are you uninstalling and reinstalling? Are you reinstalling it to the same sim build on the same PC? If so, then just go to your P3D\ORBX\User Documents\Versions folder and delete the FTX_GLOBAL_BASE_PACK.txt, this will tell FTXC3 that it is no longer installed and you can reinstall over top and it will just repair the existing installation.
