jstonge24
Read through it but I'm not running P3D. I'll flip the files just to see if anything shows up.

Doug Sawatzky
I am going to do an install of FSX SE after I eat breakfast and see what happens, maybe that way I can see more accurately the file system.
Nick Cooper
Hello Joel, I would suggest that you use the TweakFS Registry Utility to set the registry entries for FSX to D:\Steam Library\steamapps\common\FSX. Then delete C:\Users\Your name\AppData\Local\Orbx and C:\Users\Your name\AppData\Local\Temp\Orbx and try to re-install FTX Central v3 from the link on the Orbx Direct home page. jstonge24
Hey Nick, Â I tried all of this but FTXC3 still didn't ask me to pick a sim on install. There wasn't a way for me to uninstall FTXC3 in the control panel so I just deleted all of the other files. The ORBX registry tool still says no sims found. What should I do next? Nick Cooper
If it only sees one simulator, it will not ask you to choose. What does it say at the very top left of the window? You should see the simulator that it is working with up there. Don't bother with the Orbx registry tool, it will not work in the environment that you have. jstonge24
Ok. The top left says: FTX Central - FSX. I'm assuming that this means that it is running my FSX Steam which is now recognized as FSX based on the setPath function?
Nick Cooper
Yes, exactly so, now you can try re-installing FTX Global if you wish.

jstonge24
I think this may have done the trick. I took some screenshots to clarify that it has had the desired effect: Boston MA Charlotte NC Manchester UK Rock Hill NC (KUZA)
Nick Cooper
Yes, the road lighting in your second shot is unique to FTX.
