DrRob
One my favorite airports is KEGE so I was delighted to find that Orbx had done a really beautiful one. I ipruchased and installed FTX Central, updated the libraries, and then purchased and installed KEGE as well. Everything went well and the airport is just as splendid as I had hoped. Then I noticed that my airport is sunken and surrounded around its periphery by a cliff. I turned off all mesh terrain software in my system (UTX or FS Global) to no avail. The airport is still sunken (see picture attached). Would appreciate any tips on how to fix this. Running FSX Deluxe Edition on very high performance Windows 7 PC. Many airports and much hardware -- sophisticated 767 setup. (see pic)

Stewart Hobson
I think you'll find you need to disable the AEC for this airport, provided you have Vector with its AEC tool.
DrRob
I don't have Vector, It's not required for this airport. DO you recommend that I install it, then use the correction tool?
Stewart Hobson
Yes, only because my Vector AEC tool shows that the AEC for KEGE has been disabled. Maybe direct your question over at the Vector support forum. But your screenshot clearly shows that some sort of elevation issue needs to be corrected, and Vector would be the obvious tool to use.
