Scenery tiles morphing

So now I'm thinking ok I have purchased a lot of airports and regions, time to have a little fun. Well I decide to take a flight in an unknown area of the world. So Albuquerque would be cool. There are a couple of free Orbx airports there. So I pick Santa Fe. And I take off and as I am circling around to go south the scenery starts to flash on and off in squares where one or 2 or 3 squares flash on with a texture that doesn't match the squares beside it. And that keeps happening as I am flying...squares of weird other textures where they don't belong. All sort of the right colours just not matching flowing textures that make sense.

 

Please explain what is causing this?

 

I seem to have bad luck with one problem after another...even though I have spent a lot of money with Orbx I may just give up this whole flight sim stuff.

 

I would really appreciate some insight into why every time I launch...some weirdness happens.

Very frustrated and now I'm starting to feel like a real chump having spent all this money.
