KVSandleben
Seems to be FSX in DX10 mode. Which is the reason for the boxes.
EsqFlyer
It is FSX:SE in DX10, I guess I did make that change and totally forgot! Is DX10 not usable with Orbx products?
Mikelab6
That's a known problem when using DX10 preview. Those black boxes are the street lights. Try unticking DX10 preview in your FSX settings, and if the problem is gone, you will know it's because of it. If you want to use DX10 preview because performance of the sim is better, you will need to use the freeware fix at the Avsim library, the file name is shader_release_v3.2.3.zip. or the payware DX10 Steve's fixer tool here to avoid those black boxes. Canalguna
I have the SteveFix's payware and still have the boxes, should I configure it in a specific way?
Nick Cooper
If you still have the black boxes, the Direct X 10 Fixer is not installed.
Triplane
Go to the DX10 Controller and be sure the Libraries are up-to-date and installed. If they are (or after you update them), uninstall and then reinstall them. That worked for me the other day when I had the same problem..........Doug
