VHOJT
Hi all, Just a quick question about YMML v3 (it happened in v2 as well). Is there any reason AI planes (especially international ones) seem to like parking all over the QF domestic terminal? I only have 25% traffic set or so. Is this a problem with YMML v3 or with the WOAI aircraft I have installed? They seem to have their airline codes, as does YMML v3 APX that I looked at in Airport Design Editor. Any advice on how I could remedy this would be appreciated. Cheers, A virtual 737 pilot who found an Emirates 77W in his domestic parking spot 23! Richard Lincoln
Spoiler Hello Rudy, I have the Orbx Traffic package installed, no dramas with parking. Not sure about woai
VHOJT
Hi Richard, Hmm I probably should give that a go. I am guessing I just uninstall the WOAI airlines that Orbx already has? Cheers, Rudy
Jon Clarke
It depends where you are flying. You could just disable WOAI when in AUS/NZ if those flights are covered by the FTX Traffic package. Just use the FTX package. When you fly out of AUS/NZ, you can have WOAI enabled again so you get worldwide coverage. No need to uninstall WOAI. just disable in your scenery library temporarily. Dave_YVR
Could also be that the Wing_span settings within each aircraft.cfg in the WoAI aircraft are different than realistic which is common in originally FS9 AI packages.
VHOJT
Yeah the disable in the scenery library sounds like a good idea. I'll check the wingspans - thanks! Cheers, Rudy
VHOJT
The ORBX AU traffic parks nicely where it ought. So must be something to do with WOAI. Thanks for the help guys Cheers, Rudy
gumbypickett
Hey Rudy, I only fly Aus and N.Z and find the AU traffic packs in my opinion are spot on in detail and parking. I refuse to use any other traffic pack as they seem a little 2nd rate. You won't be disappointed. Happy flying. cheers Gumby 1 hour ago, VHOJT said: The ORBX AU traffic parks nicely where it ought.
