Brok
I installed FTX Vector and tried to launch the config tool, but as soon as I do that it tells me I dont have a simulato insatlled. I already tried the registry fix tool and put in the simulator path again but it didn't work. I am using FSX-SE. Would appreciate your help, thanks
Richard Lincoln
Hello Brok, Try launching the AEC from your Orbx/Scripts Folder, I have had this issue before and after running the Registry Fix Tool I always Re-boot my Pc. Please let me know your results.
Brok
@Richard Lincoln Thanks, I added the FSX-SE to the FSX path in the registry tool and it magically worked. Thank you... One further question, I flew around over Hawaii and saw that the golf courses were standard looking in the way of being cut off like in the default. I don't know if it was caused by the config tool not working or not but shouldn't they be accurately placed with Vector?
Richard Lincoln
Hi Brok, Please post a screenshot of the issue, have you Run the AEC? It is worth while looking at the various options the tool has and make certain you have ticked what you would like to see. Below are instructions for posting a screenshot on the forum, also please type the coordinates.
Brok
You can see it pretty good in this one, the golf course is split up.
Richard Lincoln
Hello Brok, An easy way to show coordinates is (shift z) this will further help me to diagnose the issue, also as stated above, have you ran the AEC? if so what options do you have ticked in the configurator? Brok
Oh sorry, forgot that. I have run AEC and ticked all boxes. Will add coordinates in a moment
Brok
Here the coordinates. I do have REX texture direct installed, could that cause problems?
Richard Lincoln
Hi Brok, I'll check it out and get back to you, btw REX would not be the culprit. Also where are your vector entries sitting in the scenery library?
Brok
just above all the bases, so pretty far down.
