Where do I put my order number ? Here is my order number: FSS0510189 Here's all the issues I am having: IN THE FTX GLOBAL BASE PACK READ ME IT SAYS: “Orbx Simulation Systems - FTX: Global BASE note: I had everything on my computer turned off including disableing Norton AV. PLEASE NOTE: Before installing this product you must also have the Microsoft .NET Framework v4.0 or greater installed. Extract all files to a temporary folder and run the executable to begin the installation process.” WHERE DO I GET THIS FILE ? Microsoft .NET Framework v4.0 or greater NEXT: I INSTALLED THE GLOBAL BSE PACK, IT SAID IT WAS SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED BUT IT’S NOT INSTALLED. I INSTALLED FTX GLOBAL PACK 2 DAYS AGO BUT IT WAS UNSUCCESSFUL….BUT IT DID ASK FOR AND I PUT IN THE REGISTRATION DETAILS. ON TODAYS INSTALL ATTEMPT IT SAID IT WAS SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED BUT TON THE FTX CENTRAL2 PAGE IT SAYS UNDER “PRODUCTS NOT INSTALLED”, FTX GLOBAL VECTOR IS THERE. ALSO UNDER SETTING AND TOOL THE “ FTX GLOBAL VECTOR configuration tool is not there. ALSO ON MY 2ND AND 3RD INSTALL ATTEMPT IT DID NOT ASK ME TO INSTALL THE REGISTRATION DETAILS HERE: Order Number: FSS0510189Order Date: 2016-08-11 [ORB-727] Orbx - FTX: Global BASE Registration Key: deleted ALSO IN THE “INSTALLED PRODUCTS LIST” IT SHOWS IT INSTALLED..HERE IS A COPY OF WHAT IT SAYS THERIN: GLOBALFTX Global Base Pack FTX GLOBAL BASE PACK - Version 1.40 September 2015 UNDER THE: “FTX Central pre-install setup / Ftx central will now open” it says: If you have Global already installed ( which I do) “please select and apply “global” WHERE DO I DO THIS? UNDER “SETTINGS / TROUBLESHOOTING / DIAGNOSTIC REPORTER IT / GENERATE REPORT” IT GAVE ME THIS NUMBER otd2368777d872e3fc140098d91aa43f2a . IT SAID TO GIVE IT TO THE ORBX STAFF WHEN ASKED. Nick Cooper Posted August 12, 2016 Share Posted August 12, 2016 I expect that now you should visit this page and download the latest libraries.Install them and follow all the on-screen prompts. Then run FTX Central and let it finish. All should then be well. Thanks for the diagnostic report, unfortunately, the means to view it has been discontinued. seehunt Posted August 13, 2016 Author Share Posted August 13, 2016 Well, I did exactly as u said: I visited the page u told me to, found, downloaded and installed the FTXglobal libs160708 file. I then ran FTX central.......................and no joy, it did not work. It still shows under the products not installed: FTX global lc europe FTX global lc North America FTX global Vector Please advise and thank you. What a pain this is. As you wrote above, FTX Global has installed. I left out the registration key. I received this email from them on the10th of this month. I used the order number, order date and registration key as required upon installation. Also, I have attached a screenshot of my scenery library, as u can see FTX Global base is not there. Nick Cooper Posted August 14, 2016 Share Posted August 14, 2016 Your screen shot is inconclusive, there are three entries that are created by FTX Global, they are all named ORBX!_OPENLC**** and are placed just above Edwards AFB in FSX Gold and Steam Edition. seehunt Posted August 14, 2016 Author Share Posted August 14, 2016 Nick, In scrolling down my scenery library I see on priority line # 20, 21 and 22 these entries: ORBX!OPENLC_EUROPE1 ORBX!OPENLC_NAMERICA1 ORBX!OPENLC_BASE They are not above Edwards AFB, but are above VLC_Libraries on line 23. seehunt Posted August 15, 2016 Author Share Posted August 15, 2016 Nick, thanks for the help on this issue, looks like it is installed. However, I do have a couple of other issues I need help with. I have discovered that I have the OrbxFTXGlobalVector130 zip in my download folder and it is not installed. When I click on the installer I get a welcome message that says: ++Please ensure you have Vector 120 installed++ Well, I do not have that Vector 120 installed or in my Downloads folder…please advise where to get this Vector 1,20 or do I go ahead and install the OrbxFTXGlobalVector130 without it? Nick Cooper Posted August 15, 2016 Share Posted August 15, 2016 What you have in your possession is almost certainly the FTX Vector update 1.30, available freely on the support page. As the message suggests, this is designed to update version 1.20 to version 1.30 and cannot do this unless version 1.20 is already installed. Now, I have another issue I need help with: I have installed Orbx FTX KJAC airport, within FTX Central 2 it tells me there is an update available for it. It instructs me to go to the seller of the airport to get the update. I did that and they tell me I have to go to the manufacturer of the product to get it.
